We are going to take this very shortly. Ever since the murderous attack by Hamas on kibbutzim and a music festival on 7 October 2023, many British-born Jews have been torn between the horror at the Hamas attack, their belief that Israel had a right to take retaliatory action and their concern that Israel would go too far in that retaliation. From the first week of the war, it became clear that the Israeli Government would listen to no one and was intent upon wiping out members of Hamas, regardless of the collateral toll upon the people living in Gaza who are not Hamas. We know that when it wants to, Israel can pinpoint targets and pick out a sixpence, as witnessed by its taking out the Iranian consulate in Damascus this week. What we have been seeing, however, is blanket destruction in Gaza, which has been reduced virtually to rubble. People are homeless, people are bereaved and people are hungry and desperate for shelter, food and water. Good people from across the world have tried to get food and supplies into Gaza, including the extraordinary organisation, World Central Kitchen founded and masterminded by Spanish-American celebrity chef José Andrés, which has brought 37 million meals into Gaza since October. This week, seven aid workers, British, Canadian/American, Australian and Palestinian from WCK who were driving through Gaza in convoy were killed by Israeli drones, even though each of their vehicles was clearly marked with its logo on the roof and they had alerted the IDF of their presence and intentions. Israel has said that this was “a mistake”. Perhaps it was. Perhaps it wasn’t. But it was wholly unforgivable, another act of brutality by an increasingly ruthless and obdurate Israeli military controlled by a mostly cruel and heartless Cabinet, headed by a man who knows when the music stops he is heading for jail and so he cannot let the music stop. Joe Biden knows that this is intolerable and has called upon Israel to stop, but it won’t stop unless he tells them that there will be no more money – or arms – unless they stop. And although Biden might regain some of the people who have abandoned him because of his initial support, he will also certainly lose some of the people who are still supporting Israel. And it is election year in the US. But he has to do something now. And the UK government has to do something now. Speaking for herself, WTF is finding it hard to understand how a nation conceived out of the horror inflicted upon Jews in the 1930s and 1940s has come to this, and it breaks her heart.

Well, if this is not the definition of bare-faced gall, what is? Danyul (the spelling itself merits outrage) dresses his client in ripped-up, bra-baring rubbish, as if poor Lisa had been mugged on her way to the event, and then poses proudly by her side. This outfit would be ridiculous if purchased from Boohoo but it comes from Viktor & Rolf and costs squillions. Questions also have to be asked about Danyul’s trousers which are billowing around his ankles like giant turn-ups.
This is actor Alice Kremelberg wearing Simone Rocha for Jean Paul Gaultier at the premiere of her TV series, Renegade Nell, a gay Disney romp.
WTF knows little about Renegade Nell, but would like to think that it is all about Nell, who escapes from an 18th century madhouse in only her petticoat, having sawed through the chain attacked to her neck brace with a sharpened spoon. Or something…..

As the months have passed, Bianca has shed more and more items of clothing at her husband’s request/insistence. Underwear has long since been ditched.
